About Us

Chapter House Books was founded in 1988 and has since grown into the largest general second hand bookshop in the Sherborne area. We do not specialise in any particular subject but like to keep a very diverse stock of over 30,000 books, both hardbacks and paperbacks.
We also sell (and buy) pictures and prints; second hand videos and CDs. We can arrange bookbinding and provide a new book ordering service. Since changing hands in 2003 the business continues to flourish and offers a friendly and warm atmosphere to all its customers, in person and online
